Mr. Uy is a JD graduate of the De La Salle Tañada Diokno College of Law where he was a top student. He was an Exemplary Passer in the 2022 Philippine Bar exams, ranking in the top 6% among more than 11,000 examinees. After his admission to the bar, he practiced with a litigation firm, and then moved on to become Associate Solicitor II at the Office of the Solicitor General of the Philippines, where he helped represent the Republic in litigation before the Regional Trial Courts, the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court.

Mr. Uy is an AI Governance Professional (IAPP) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (IAPP), and an Accredited Mediator with the Philippine Department of Justice’s Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is a recipient of the Asia-Pacific Scholarship at the University of California Berkeley, where he is finishing his LLM in venture capital law, AI & Technology, and banking & fintech.

Mr. Uy’s practice covers technology law, business startup law, dispute resolution, and litigation. He provides strategic legal counsel on business permits, transactions, regulatory compliance, real estate, immigration, visas for startups, entrepreneurs, and general corporate services.
